WHO WE ARE?

In 1985, 2 people decided there was a need for a holiday camp for people with special needs, and so Camp Cando was born.  Since then Camp Cando has grown into a fully registered charity taking between 15 and 20 people on holiday every year.

The basic idea of camp is fun and experience, and to give our campers the opportunity to do and see things they might not be able to do in their everyday life.

Camp runs for 1 week during the summer. Activities include arts & crafts, music & dancing, fancy dress and sports plus trips out to local farms, seaside and the zoo and making the most of the lovely Kent countryside.

Holidays are currently based at the St Barnabas Centre, Tonbridge - a well equipped activity centre in wonderful woodland with large open play areas and on site swimming pool.

Camp Cando is a voluntary charity with no full time staff and all our funds are self raised by the members of Camp.
